Jeffrey A. Baker, age 67, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in his home.

Jeffrey was born on December 10, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late John and Ruth (Everett) Baker. He married Kimberly Sprinkle on April 3, 1976 and they shared 45 years of marriage together before her death on May 16, 2021.

Jeffrey worked in production at Active Products in Marion for over 20 years, and then at Atlas Foundry until his retirement.

Jeffrey is survived by two sons, Jason Baker (Michele) of Ohio and Ryan Baker (Mandy) of Marion; a sister, Phyllis Vargo (Jim) of Schererville, Indiana; and grandchildren, Nolan, Trevor, Kylee, Dylan and Alyssa Baker. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sherrick.

He enjoyed going to the Ducktail Run with his 1972 Ford LTD Convertible. He was also an avid NASCAR fan especially of driver Chase Elliott, and loved watching Indiana Hoosiers Basketball.

A visitation and funeral service was held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Pastor Mark Hummel officiated.

Kimberly A. Baker, age 64 of Marion passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.

Kimberly was born on October 24, 1956 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Edward and Jackie (Faulkner) Sprinkle.

She married Jeff Baker on April 3, 1976, and he survives.

Kimberly was a legal secretary for the Call Center in Marion. She loved I.U. Basketball, NASCAR Racing, especially driver Ryan Blaney and loved trying out new restaurants. Kimberly was a loving mother and wife and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jeff Baker of Marion; two sons, Ryan (Mandy) Baker of Marion and Jason (Michele) Baker of Ohio; a brother, Jan (Jan) Sprinkle of Mississippi; and grandchildren, Nolan, Trevor, Kylee, Dylan and Alyssa Baker.

Friends and family may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Jacquelyn was born in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late George Faulkner and Kathryn (Baldwin) Faulkner. On June 13, 1953, she married Edward C. Sprinkle. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2006.

JACQUELYN graduated from Marion High School in 1951. She worked at Auto Owners Insurance Company until her retirement in 1993. She was also a former volunteer at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Marion. She was an avid sports fan, especially of Reggie Miller and the PACERS and Terry Bradshaw and the STEELERS.

Survivors include Son, Jan E. Sprinkle (Janet) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Daughter, Kimberly A. Baker (Jeffrey) of Marion, Indiana; Sister-In-Laws, Sharon Faulkner of Marion, Indiana, Mattie Lou England of Gas City, Indiana, and Vida Pope of Orangeburg, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Hopkins, Shannon Sweet, Jason Baker, Ryan Baker and Rachael Sprinkle; and 3 great-grandchildren, Nolan Baker, Carter Sweet and Jaelyn Cruzan.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William R. Faulkner and Richard Faulkner.
