VIRGINIA BEACH - Linda Kay Leggett, 59, passed away Nov. 13, 2008, in a Virginia Beach hospital. Mrs. Leggett was born in Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Chester W. Ridings and Alice Tuttle. She was a member of Water's Edge Church of God in Virginia Beach. Survivors include her son, David W. Leggett and his wife Nicole; her daughter, Michelle R. Price and her husband Michael; her grandchildren, Madison M. Price and Ashlynn R. Leggett; her sisters, Mary Lee, Helen Davenport and Kathy Upson; and her brothers, Tommy and Michael Ridings. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Water's Edge Church of God, 4141 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Alice T. Ridings, age 60 of Virginia Beach, Va., was born January 28,
1922 and passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on August 23, 1982. She was
the daughter of the late John and Lottie Tuttle of Cumberland Gap. Mrs. Ridings
was a member of Underwood Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors; husband, Chester Ridings, Virginia Beach; daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee
Davenport, Mrs. Helen Davenport, Mrs. Linda Leggett and Mrs. Kathy Upson all
of Virginia Beach; sons, Tommy Ridings, and C. Michael Ridings; 8
grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, James Tutle, Shelby Tutle, Tilmon Tuttle, Carson Tuttle, and Robert Tuttle all of Arthur, Clyde Tuttle, Tazewell;
sisters, Mrs. Beatrice McMurray, Mrs. Mary Jones, Mrs. Rosie Guy and Mrs. Elsie Minton all of Arthur; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 26 at Underwood Grove
Baptist Church with Rev. George T. Stallings, Rev. Yadon Howard officiating.
Burial in the SHoffner Cemetery. Singers were the Underwood Grove Choir.

Pallbearers were nephews.
