Martha Francis
Martha "Jane" Francis, nee Collins, 69, of Cahokia, Ill., born April 24, 1939, in Newhall, W. Va., died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at her residence.
Jane was a former den leader for Scout Troop 694 of Cahokia, Ill., Lewis and Clark Chapter Order of Demolay, and E.A. Weinel Chapter Order of Demolay and Job's Daughters Bethel 65.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ora Collins; and three brothers, Clyde, Roger and Ronald Collins.
Surviving are her children, Kirby (Brenda) Francis of Granite City, Ill., Deborah Young of Wentzville, Mo., Freddie Lee Francis of Fenton, Mo., Arthur A. Francis of Sullivan, Mo., Yvette (Terry) Lybarger of Bonne Terre, Mo., and Wesley Francis of Sullivan, Mo.; five brothers, Glen Collins of Covina, Calif., Walter Collins of Dayton, Ohio, John (Linda) Collins Jr., of Cahokia, Ill., James Collins of Laughlin, Ariz., and Charles (Sandy) Collins of Cahokia, Ill.; five sisters, Beula (Nick) Pappas of Cahokia, Ill., Carol Kreamalmeyer of West Frankfort, Ill., Doris Niner of Sullivan, Ohio, Janice (Donald) Steveson of Martinsville, Va., and Joyce (Roy) Harman of Tazewell, Va.; and 18 grandchildren. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the funeral home with Sandra Collins officiating. Interment will be in Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, Ill.

David Ridings was born December 1, 1847 and died July 30, 1926. He was married to Mary Tolmes and to this union was born 8 children, six living, 4 boys and 2 girls. Bro. Ridings professed faith in Christ and joined the Primitive Baptist Chruch at Pleasant Point and lived a faithful member. Mary Ridings, wife of David Ridings, aged 85 years, departed this life 1926.
