Mrs. H.B. Corse, wife of H.B. Corse, a prominent citizen of Wellington, died Monday afternoon at her home after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Corse was born in Chapel Hill, Missouri, on December 20, 1846, and was in her sixty-fifth year at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Thomas W. and Cornelia Ridings. The deceased was a member of the M.E. Church South.

Besides her husband she is survived by one sister, Mrs. P.S. Fulkerson, and one half-sister, Miss Mary Ridings of Lexington, and three children, Mrs. F.W. Mann and John L. Corse, of Wellington, and Mrs. B.C. Drummond of this city.

The funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Wellington conducted by Rev. T.H. Clayton.
