ENLISTED JULY 6, 1942. SERVED AS A PRIVATE 1ST CLASS WITH THE 175TH INFANTRY, 29TH INFANTRY DIVISION. WOUNDED IN COMBAT WHILE IN FRANCE, SEPTEMBER 11, 1944. DIED FROM THESE WOUNDS ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1944. HIS BODY WAS RETURNED HOME IN 1948 FOR BURIAL ALONG WITH HIS BROTHER'S BODY.

Looking for info on Malcom C Coffman
b/04/11/1892 - d/02/03/1953. He married
my great grandmother Lilly Wilder Roberts
and had two sons both were killed in WWII.
They lived in Lee Co Va.
