3552	Roy Adam Koehm, 92, of Greenfield, IL died Monday, June 11, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born December 18, 1925 in Greenfield, IL to Virgil & Mabel (Haven) Koehm. He married Mildred “Mickey” Anderson December 21, 1946 in St. Louis, MO and she preceded him in death November 25, 2008. Surviving is a son John Koehm of Reno, NV, a granddaughter Julie (Joe) Zavala of Woodland, CA, a grandson, Adam (Helen) Koehm of Reno, NV, two step-grandchildren, Luke and Theresa, a step-great-granddaughter, Petra, and a brother, George Koehm of Seal Beach, CA. Over the past eight years, he found companionship with a special friend Phyllis Uhlry. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters, Helen and Aileen. Mr. Koehm was a member of the Greenfield United Methodist Church and a lifelong farmer. He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor as well as a strong, hard working individual. One of Roy's favorite hobbies was dancing. He enjoyed country music, square dancing and polka. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and surfing the internet. A funeral service will be held at 4 pm Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 pm at the funeral home. 3554	Ruby O. Keck Dec. 7, 1915-June 11, 2006 Ruby O. Keck, 90, of Monroe died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday in her home. She had been in poor health for six months. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 10 until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born Dec. 7, 1915, in Union County, Tenn., she was the daughter of Calvin and Margaret (Lyons) Tolliver. She married Charles Shackleford in 1931, in Claiborne County, Tenn. She then married Estil Keck on March 28, 1939, in Bowling Green, Ohio. He died Sept. 8, 1985. Mrs. Keck worked for Consolidated Paper Co. and then on the Manhattan Project in Oakridge, Tenn. For 25 years, she was a nurse's aide at Mercy Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church since 1938. Surviving are three sons, Bill (Joyce) Shackleford of Longview, Texas, Gary Keck of Monroe and Larry (Mary Jean) Keck of Belleville; three daughters, Lorraine Diker of Fort Wayne, Ind., Janice (Bill) Hatfield of Monroe and Sharon (Rick) Thomason of Johnson City, Tenn.; two brothers, James (Elsie) of Monticello, Ky., and J.C. (Janie) of Williamsburg, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her second husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Shackleford; three brothers, Ulys, Julius and Kenneth; four sisters, Frankie Bryant, Ella Mae Smith, Isora Tolliver and an infant, and two granddaughters, Christina Lower and Amy Thomason. 3555	RYDEN, SARA JACKSON WILLIS - 86, 1013 Oracle Ct. Johnson City, TN died Sunday Dec. 16, 2007 at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in her family's home at Embreeville, Tennessee, a small village of homes of the executives of the Embree Iron Co. Dr. A.J. Willis, Sara's Dad, was physician to employees and families of the Embreeville Iron Co. Sara's mother, Belle Tyler Cloyd Willis was an accomplished pianist, teacher and homemaker. Sara attended Lamar High School from primary grade to graduation in 1939. Went on to Maryville College for two years and then to the University of Tennessee where she graduated in 1943. She was a Member of the Alpha Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta national sorority at UT, now known as UTK. She married Gilbert Powell Ryden June 12, 1943, at her home, Slick Rock Farm, on the banks of the Nolichucky River, Washington County, Tennessee. She was Chapter Advisor for Kappa Delta at UTK and also on the Panhellenic Advisory Council. She was a former officer of the Knoxville Symphony Guild. Sara was also a former Trail Chairwomen for the Dogwood Arts Festival, a member of the President King's Daughter and the DAR and a member of Ossoli Circle of Knoxville. She was a long standing member of East Minister Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband Gil, and is survived by two daughters; Martha R. Tubb, Cape Coral, FL and Amanda Ryden Smith, Charlottesville, VA, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Cronise Suiter; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Ronald D. and Kathy Suiter, Burlington, Vt.; one daughter and son-in-law, Angelita S. and Dr. Milton N. 3557	Sabra Virginia Miller Gibson, daughter of the late Charles and Nealie Ridings Cundiff, was born in Pulaski County, Ky. on Friday, Nov. 6, 1914, and she departed this life peacefully at the NorthPoint Health Care Center in Lexington, Ky., having attained the age of 92 years. She was first united in marriage to Mr. Homer Lewis Miller on March 23, 1932, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1995. Seven children blessed this union; two sons, Sammy (and Brenda) Miller of Broadhead, Ky., and Donald (and Patricia) Miller of Rex, Ga., and five daughters, Maxine (and Eddie) Whitis of Somerset, Ky., Geraldine Miller of Dallas, Ga., Christine (and Eugene) Meece of Somerset, Ky., Norma Jean Jasper of Somerset, Ky., and Linda (and Kenneth) Speer of Lexington, Ky. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Other than her parents and first husband, she was also preceded in death by her second husband, William Cecil Gibson, whom she married on Nov. 8, 1995. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1999. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Estel Cundiff, Joe Cundiff, and Robert Cundiff; one sister, Priscilla Cundiff Harmon; two daughters, Margaret Louise Miller and Mary Elizabeth Miller; two grandsons, Michael Wayne Meece and Mark Wilder; and one granddaughter, Jenny Smith. Sabra was a member of the Somerset First Church of the Nazarene. She was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing and celebrate her going home. Sally was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wiseman of Blountville, TN; father, Charles Garrett of Rose Hill, VA; and one granddaughter, Callie Newman of Virginia Beach, VA. 3559	Samantha Lynn Kemper, 23, of Taneytown, Maryland lost her courageous battle with cancer Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. Born May 16, 1988 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John A. Kemper of Taneytown and Tammy Lynn Bridge Kemper-Miller of Union Bridge. Samantha was a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, family and friends. Surviving in addition to her parents are daughter, Catherine “Catie” Pauline Kemper; brother, Devon Miller of Union Bridge; and maternal grandparents, Conard & Pauline Bridge of Union Bridge. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Leonard & Catherine Kemper. She was a member of the Hixson Church of God for the past 25 years and a resident of the Daisy community of Hamilton County for the past 43 years. January 28, 1943 EDWARD HALE, 50, TAKEN BY DEATH Edward Hale was born October 16, 1892 at Blackwater, KY, and died January 18, 1943 in a hospital in Cincinnati of ulcer of the stomach. He was 50 years old, three months and two days old at the time of his death. He was the sone of the late James T. Hale and Elizabeth McFadden Hale and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Susie Burkhart of Bush and Mrs. Neil Mullins of Corbin; also four brothers, Thomas Hale of Florence, CO; D.R. Hale of Lawton, OK; Milford Hale of Blackwater; J.R. Hale of Cane Creek. He was preceded in death several years ago by two sisters, Mrs. Mahala Ledington and Mrs. Ida Walden, also two brothers and one sister, who died in infancy. When a young man of nineteen, he went West to seek employment and was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Company as fireman and engineer at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Having served in this capacity for several years, he volunteered his service to the United States Army in World War No. 1 and was honorably discharged. When this war broke out, he again offered his services, but was refused on account of age and disability. For the past few months he has been employed as guard in defense work in Cincinnati. Besides immediate famkily, he leaves a number of nieces and nephews, two aunts and two uncles along with either relatives and friends to mourn his death. Survivors include his wife, Reba (Short) Bolton of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; five daughters, Mary Sizemore of London, Kentucky, Eulene Asher of Andrew, Indiana, Louise Dixon of Columbus, Indiana, Irene Asher and Ruth Carrol, both of Dalton, Georgia; three sons, Charles Bolton of Wabash, Indiana, Merle Bolton and Don Bolton, both of Dalton, Georgia; a sister, Roxie Witt of Corbin, Kentucky; a brother, Clifford Bolton of Indiana; 23 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. Agnes met James (Harold) Shearer after his discharge of the Army and was married in Detroit Michigan 1946. They soon picked up and followed Harold's family to Bakersfield, California. Agnes was a loving mother to daughter Margaret (1952) and son James (Jim) Jr (1948). Agnes was a homemaker, excellent baker of desserts, until children were in school and started her career with Thriftimart Market (the Big Red T), on Niles St and closed the last store on Ming Ave a career which lasted 28years. Agnes, an excellent bowler, could be found at Westchester, Freddie's or Roadway Lanes, visiting with friends, where she was a 500 Club member. She loved tournaments. She was born in 1921 in New Market, where she resided most of her life. Nelle earned her teaching certification from East Tennessee State University, and subsequently spent many years teaching, including brief periods at Bates School in New Market and Third Creek Elementary School in Knoxville. She later spent most of her career teaching 2nd grade at New Market Elementary School before retiring in 1983. She loved and trusted in Jesus and was the oldest member of her beloved Nance's Grove Baptist Church in New Market, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. Nelle was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and a beautiful Christian role model for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a true servant, always concerned about the needs of others. She enjoyed life, loved to read, and play the piano, even recently practicing at least an hour and a half every day. She was an optimist who always spoke well of others and never complained. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, many of her former students, and by her cat, Molly. Roy Adam Koehm, 92, of Greenfield, IL died Monday, June 11, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born December 18, 1925 in Greenfield, IL to Virgil & Mabel (Haven) Koehm. He married Mildred “Mickey” Anderson December 21, 1946 in St. Louis, MO and she preceded him in death November 25, 2008.

Surviving is a son John Koehm of Reno, NV, a granddaughter Julie (Joe) Zavala of Woodland, CA, a grandson, Adam (Helen) Koehm of Reno, NV, two step-grandchildren, Luke and Theresa, a step-great-granddaughter, Petra, and a brother, George Koehm of Seal Beach, CA. Over the past eight years, he found companionship with a special friend Phyllis Uhlry.

He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters, Helen and Aileen.

Mr. Koehm was a member of the Greenfield United Methodist Church and a lifelong farmer. He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor as well as a strong, hard working individual. One of Roy's favorite hobbies was dancing. He enjoyed country music, square dancing and polka. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and surfing the internet.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Shields-Bishop Funeral Home in Greenfield. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 pm at the funeral home.

She married Charles Shackleford in 1931, in Claiborne County, Tenn. She then married Estil Keck on March 28, 1939, in Bowling Green, Ohio. He died Sept. 8, 1985. Mrs. Keck worked for Consolidated Paper Co. and then on the Manhattan Project in Oakridge, Tenn. For 25 years, she was a nurse's aide at Mercy Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church since 1938. Surviving are three sons, Bill (Joyce) Shackleford of Longview, Texas, Gary Keck of Monroe and Larry (Mary Jean) Keck of Belleville; three daughters, Lorraine Diker of Fort Wayne, Ind., Janice (Bill) Hatfield of Monroe and Sharon (Rick) Thomason of Johnson City, Tenn.; two brothers, James (Elsie) of Monticello, Ky., and J.C. (Janie) of Williamsburg, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. RYDEN, SARA JACKSON WILLIS - 86, 1013 Oracle Ct. Johnson City, TN died Sunday Dec. 16, 2007 at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in her family's home at Embreeville, Tennessee, a small village of homes of the executives of the Embree Iron Co. Dr. A.J. Willis, Sara's Dad, was physician to employees and families of the Embreeville Iron Co. Sara's mother, Belle Tyler Cloyd Willis was an accomplished pianist, teacher and homemaker. Sara attended Lamar High School from primary grade to graduation in 1939. Went on to Maryville College for two years and then to the University of Tennessee where she graduated in 1943. She was a Member of the Alpha Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta national sorority at UT, now known as UTK. She married Gilbert Powell Ryden June 12, 1943, at her home, Slick Rock Farm, on the banks of the Nolichucky River, Washington County, Tennessee. She was Chapter Advisor for Kappa Delta at UTK and also on the Panhellenic Advisory Council. She was a former officer of the Knoxville Symphony Guild. Sara was also a former Trail Chairwomen for the Dogwood Arts Festival, a member of the President King's Daughter and the DAR and a member of Ossoli Circle of Knoxville. She was a long standing member of East Minister Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband Gil, and is survived by two daughters; Martha R. Tubb, Cape Coral, FL and Amanda Ryden Smith, Charlottesville, VA, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church and was owner and operator of Harvey's Dry Cleaning and Laundry, was a past president of Tri-State laundry and Dry Cleaners Association, also a member of Williamson Road Kiwanis Club, a member of and past chaplain of Roanoke Lodge #197, BPOE. he was a member of Williamson Road Lodge #163 A.F. the Scottish Rite Bodies, and Kazim Temple Shrine.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Cronise Suiter; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Ronald D. and Kathy Suiter, Burlington, Vt.; one daughter and son-in-law, Angelita S. and Dr. Milton N. Sabra Virginia Miller Gibson, daughter of the late Charles and Nealie Ridings Cundiff, was born in Pulaski County, Ky. on Friday, Nov. 6, 1914, and she departed this life peacefully at the NorthPoint Health Care Center in Lexington, Ky., having attained the age of 92 years.
She was first united in marriage to Mr. Homer Lewis Miller on March 23, 1932, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1995. Seven children blessed this union; two sons, Sammy (and Brenda) Miller of Broadhead, Ky., and Donald (and Patricia) Miller of Rex, Ga., and five daughters, Maxine (and Eddie) Whitis of Somerset, Ky., Geraldine Miller of Dallas, Ga., Christine (and Eugene) Meece of Somerset, Ky., Norma Jean Jasper of Somerset, Ky., and Linda (and Kenneth) Speer of Lexington, Ky. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Other than her parents and first husband, she was also preceded in death by her second husband, William Cecil Gibson, whom she married on Nov. 8, 1995. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1999. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Estel Cundiff, Joe Cundiff, and Robert Cundiff; one sister, Priscilla Cundiff Harmon; two daughters, Margaret Louise Miller and Mary Elizabeth Miller; two grandsons, Michael Wayne Meece and Mark Wilder; and one granddaughter, Jenny Smith.
Sabra was a member of the Somerset First Church of the Nazarene. She was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing and celebrate her going home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Dunbar officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery.

Samantha Lynn Kemper, 23, of Taneytown, Maryland lost her courageous battle with cancer Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland.

Born May 16, 1988 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John A. Kemper of Taneytown and Tammy Lynn Bridge Kemper-Miller of Union Bridge.

Samantha was a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her parents are daughter, Catherine “Catie” Pauline Kemper; brother, Devon Miller of Union Bridge; and maternal grandparents, Conard & Pauline Bridge of Union Bridge. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Leonard & Catherine Kemper.

EDWARD HALE, 50, TAKEN BY DEATH
Edward Hale was born October 16, 1892 at Blackwater, KY, and died January 18, 1943 in a hospital in Cincinnati of ulcer of the stomach. He was 50 years old, three months and two days old at the time of his death. He was the sone of the late James T. Hale and Elizabeth McFadden Hale and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Susie Burkhart of Bush and Mrs. Neil Mullins of Corbin; also four brothers, Thomas Hale of Florence, CO; D.R. Hale of Lawton, OK; Milford Hale of Blackwater; J.R. Hale of Cane Creek.
He was preceded in death several years ago by two sisters, Mrs. Mahala Ledington and Mrs. Ida Walden, also two brothers and one sister, who died in infancy.
When a young man of nineteen, he went West to seek employment and was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Company as fireman and engineer at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Having served in this capacity for several years, he volunteered his service to the United States Army in World War No. 1 and was honorably discharged. When this war broke out, he again offered his services, but was refused on account of age and disability. For the past few months he has been employed as guard in defense work in Cincinnati.
Besides immediate famkily, he leaves a number of nieces and nephews, two aunts and two uncles along with either relatives and friends to mourn his death.
His brother, Milford Hale, and brother-in-law, J.W. Mullins of Corbvin, went to Cincinnati and ...

Delbert H. Hale, 82, Route 8, Keavy, died at 4:20 a.m. December 11 at his residence. A lifelong Laurel Countian, he was born Sept. 14, 1892, the son of Sidney and Alice Harville Hale. Mr. Hale was a retired carpenter and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was married to the former Ida Meadows, who survives. Also surviving are three step-children, Clyde and Cecil Meadows, both of Dayton, Ohio; and Mrs. Cleo Storms, Corbin; four sisters, Maudie Reynolds, Keavie; Ruthie Johnson, Route 1, London; and Edith Hardin and Florence Anders, both of London; and three brothers, Hamp Hale, Loyall, Jim Hale, Route 1, London; and Bruce Hale, Mason, Ohio.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the locust Grove Christian Church by Pastor J.D. Dobbs and Rev. Jack Bunch.
Interment was in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Keavy.
Rawlings Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.

Evans. Interment was in the Hale Cemetery, Tuttle. Born August 6, 1912, in Laurel County, he was the son of Charles and Mary E. Weatherly Whitt. He was married to the former Roxie Bolton, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Felts Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services for James Thomas Hale, 85, Denver Colo., who died May 23 in the Old Masons
Home, were conducted at 7 o'clock Friday evening at the home of his son, Roy Hale, at Cold Hill
by the Revs. George Cole and Layton Vanhook.
Masonic rites were held at the grave the following morning at the grave in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery with the House Funeral Home in charge. Officiating were the Revs. Cole and William Stewart.
A Laurel County native, Mr. Hale was born July 2, 1870 at Bush, the son of Dr. J.T. Hale and Mrs. Mahala Sasser Hale. He was married to Cuie Tuttle, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Hale, a retired millwright, had been a resident of Colorado for the last twenty-nine years.
Besides the son, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. W.H. Greene, London, Route 1; Mrs. J.R. Wilkerson, Junction City, Kansas; T.J. Green, Gadsden, ALA; Mrs. W.L. Clark, Corbin; Mrs. Roy Perry, Whitley City; and nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. John Mullins, Corbin; Mrs. Lloyd Burkhart, Lake; D.B. Hale, Lawton, OK; J.R. Hale, London; and Milford Hale, Cane Creek.

Agnes Lucille Shearer was born on September 3, 1927, the youngest of 6 children, to Gilbert and Beulah Bruner in Arjay, Kentucky and passed in her sleep on November 6, 2022 after breaking her hip on August 12, 2022.
Agnes met James (Harold) Shearer after his discharge of the Army and was married in Detroit Michigan 1946. They soon picked up and followed Harold's family to Bakersfield, California.
Agnes was a loving mother to daughter Margaret (1952) and son James (Jim) Jr (1948).
Agnes was a homemaker, excellent baker of desserts, until children were in school and started her career with Thriftimart Market (the Big Red T), on Niles St and closed the last store on Ming Ave a career which lasted 28years.
Agnes, an excellent bowler, could be found at Westchester, Freddie's or Roadway Lanes, visiting with friends, where she was a 500 Club member. She loved tournaments.
Agnes was preceded in death by husband Harold, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by daughter Margaret Thompson (Kirk), son Jim (Deedee). Grandchildren Aimee Harris, Jamie Henry (Jason), Jessica Shearer, (Juan Lomeli), Tim Caudle (Anita). Great Grandchildren, Stephanie Heflin (Jorman), Zack Henry, Garrett Henry, Kaitlyn Caudle, Amanda Munson and Mckinsey Caudle.

Helen Cinnamon was born Sept. 25, 1935 in Arthur, Tenn. to the late Henry and Dava Cinnamon. She was a homemaker and volunteered her time to help others. She was also a member of Mackenzie Terrace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Billy Ray Cinnamon of Lubbock; a sister, Anna McArthur; a brother, Willard Cinnamon; four grandchildren, Carmila Ann, Billy Joe, Geneva Lea (Jenny), and Jimmy Ray; and six great-grandchildren. SHELTON, NELLE PAULINE MILLER - 91, of New Market, TN passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Tennova Hospice in Knoxville. She was born in 1921 in New Market, where she resided most of her life. Nelle earned her teaching certification from East Tennessee State University, and subsequently spent many years teaching, including brief periods at Bates School in New Market and Third Creek Elementary School in Knoxville. She later spent most of her career teaching 2nd grade at New Market Elementary School before retiring in 1983. She loved and trusted in Jesus and was the oldest member of her beloved Nance's Grove Baptist Church in New Market, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. Nelle was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and a beautiful Christian role model for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a true servant, always concerned about the needs of others. She enjoyed life, loved to read, and play the piano, even recently practicing at least an hour and a half every day. She was an optimist who always spoke well of others and never complained. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, many of her former students, and by her cat, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nora Carter Miller; her loving husband of 59 years, Carl Shelton; brothers, Ben Miller, Arlie Miller, infant Wilburn Miller, Bill Miller and George Miller, Jr.; sisters, Rosella Howard, infant Nina Miller, Clara Anderson, Gertrude Smith, Naomi Whitlock, and Kathleen Bates.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carlene and Don George; sisters-in-law, Lenoir Musser, Betty Miller, and Irene Shelton; and many nieces and nephews, who were all very special to her.

SIDNEY - Dewey O. Davis Sr., 88, of Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, died at 11:47 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on June 27, 1924, in Powells Valley, Tenn., to the late William and Doxie (Marcie) Davis. Dewey was married to Beulah Ridings. She preceded him in death on April 20, 2006.
Dewey is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Charles and Sandra Osborne, Findlay; one daughter-in-law: Linda Davis, widow of the late Dewey O Davis, Jr., Ann Arbor, Mich.; one grandson: Jeff Osborne, Findlay; one granddaughter: Tina Smith, Hoschton, Ga.; one sister: Sadie Gilbert, Onsted, Mich.; and six great grandchildren.
Dewey proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during World War II. He was a retired minister for the Church of God. Dewey loved to go deer hunting and do woodworking.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH 45365 with the Rev. Terry McBeath officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

She was born May 29, 1911 in Lee County, Va. Mrs. Warner was a member of Flatwoods United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cam and Emma Jessee Newman; three brothers, Chris Newman, Otie Newman and Barlow Newman.
