- Gladys D. Monday CLYDE, Ohio Gladys D. Monday, 70, of Clyde, Ohio, formerly of Monroe, died Friday in Lakewood Hospital, Lakewood, Ohio. Services were held Monday in FoosKlein Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Finney, pastor of First Freewill Baptist Church, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery, Rural Clyde, Ohio. Born March 16, 1926, in Speedwell, Tenn., she was the daughter of John and Lottie C. (Leach) Ridings. She was married on Aug. 28, 1943, to Ross (Pete) Monday in Middlesboro, Ky. Surviving are her husband; three daughters Mrs. Robert (Rose) Burger of Norwalk, Ohio, Jerri White of Harriman, Tenn., and Kathy Monday Lowden of Houston; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Roberta Thomas. Memorials may be made to First Freewill Baptist church, 929 N. Main St., Clyde, OH, 43410.
