  	Mary Jane Harris Ridings was born on Saturday, May 15, 1954 in Lee County Va. and passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at her home in the Sandy Ridge Community of Jonesville,Va at the age of 57. Mary was known by her granddaughter as Mamaw Bat. She was an LPN for 39 years and worked for Litton Family Medicine. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Jonesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Ridings, in 2005; Her parents, Lee Haskel and Beulah Carmony Harris; and three brothers, Jimmy Ray, Berlin and John Jr. Harris. Mary is survived by her daughter, Nicole Davis and husband Paul of Jonesville; Granddaughter, Mackenzie Davis of Jonesville; one brother, Larry Harris and wife Vickie of Jonesville; three sisters, Margaret Harris of Jonesville, Etta Daugherty and husband Dennis of Jonesville, and Alice Stith of Flatwoods, Ky.; Nieces and Nephews; Brother and Sister in laws. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap,Va with Pastors David Jones and Chris Moles officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM Monday evening until time of service. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, at Bowling Chapel Church Cemetery in Jonesville. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 PM Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
