- Ross T. Monday, 82, of Norwalk, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2008, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born June 4, 1926, in Speedwell, Tenn., and came to this area in 2002 from Clyde. He was a member of Trinity Temple,Milan. He retired in 1982 from Ford Motor Company, Sandusky, where he worked for 30 years.
Ross enjoyed fishing, gardening and collecting antiques.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Imogene (Varney) Monday of Norwalk; daughters and sons-in-law, Rose and Bob Burger of Norwalk, Geri and Ronnie White of Castalia and Cathy Loden of Norwalk; stepson, George C. Stump of Pryor, Okla.; stepdaughter, Debbie Sheridan of Collingsville, Okla.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Madge Miller of Lafollette, Tenn., Nell and George McCarty of Monroe, Mich., and Axie and Don Hilger of Lafollette.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Monday in 1997; brother, James Monday; and sister, Margaret Lowe.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m.Sunday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m.Monday with the Rev. Jack Kiskaden, Pastor of Trinity Temple, officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery, Clyde.
