  After his death and as the Great Depression took hold, Syble Hale and Buck R. Hale were send to The Junior Order United American Mechanics National Orphans Home, known as the Jr. Home, in Tiffon OH, where there resided until about 1938. Vida Hale was too old to be accepted at the Home and remained in Lee Co. http://www.jrhome.org/homehistory.htm
