- Flora Ridings, 80, of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday May 25, at the University of Tennessee Hospital.
She was born November 14, 1932 in Fonde, KY, the daughter of the late Richard and Maudie Givens Lawson.
She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Pruden, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd Ridings, Sons: Ronnie, Eddie and Larry Ridings, Brother: Clarence (Delores) Lawson and Sister: Lora Maxwell.
She is survived by the following members of her family:
Daughter: Judy Hurst of Frakes, KY;
Sons: Ricky Lynn Ridings and Randy Dean Ridings both of Middlesboro, KY;
Grandsons: Anthony (Missy) Hurst of Frakes, KY, Ricky Lee Carpenter (Shannon) Ridings of Middlesboro, KY and Richard (Miranda) Ridings of Fourmile, KY;
Great granddaughters: Madison, Jayla, McKayla and Amelia;
Brother: Lawrence (Reba) Lawson of Fonde, KY;
Special Friends: Paula Carpenter of Middlesboro and Nancy Hoskins of Ewing, VA;
And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry King presiding.
Music will be provided by Kelly Hatfield.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Creech Funeral Home.
