- COFFMAN, Roy C. age 74 of Waynesville passed away Sun. Aug. 3, 2008 at his residence.
Roy was an Army veteran and retired from GM in 2003 after 52 years of service.
He enjoyed attending the Dodds Pentecostal Church and the Lighthouse Harbor Free Pentecostal Holiness Church. He also enjoyed playing cornhole, gardening, driving his John Deere tractor, the Cincinnati Reds, spending time with his grandchildren, and helping people.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Hannah Alyssa, one brother George, one sister Pauline, two infant siblings, and his parents Claude and Alice Coffman.
He is survived by his wife Alice, married 52 years; seven children Jeff (Melinda), Gary (fiancée Carolyn), Craig (fiancée Jodi), Michael (Tabitha), Eric, and Amy Coffman and Tora (Chris) Foley; 18 grandchildren Jackie, Emily, Stephen, Ryan, Kenya, Zach, Aaron, Daniel, Adam, Savana, Sydney, Jacqueline, Brooklyn, Christopher, Jonathan, Caleb, Bruce, Rylee, and Lane; two great grandchildren Nolan and Hunter; seven brothers John, James, Ralph, Harold, Robert, Gerald, and David Coffman; and five sisters Clara Head, Elizabeth Coffman, Tina Williams, Dorothy Johnson, and Theresa Lamb.
Funeral services 10:30 AM Fri. Aug. 8 at the Dodds Pentecostal Church. Randy Brown, Rex Lloyd, and B.D. Sutherland officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
