  	MR. OATIE NEWMAN 1985 Mr. Oatie Newman, age 78, of Jonesville, Va. passed away Sunday, April 28, 1985 in the Lee County Community Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Lee County. His survivors include two sons, Billy Gene Newman, Kissimmee, FL. and Jack Newman, La Fontaine, IN; one daughter, Ada Dickson, Marion, IN; three brothers, Chris Newman, Barlow Newman, and Charles Cam Newman, Jr. all of Jonesville, VA; four sisters, Mollie Sewell, Byrd Warner, Ruby Ely and Bonnie Hopkins, all of Jonesville, Va; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Sturgill funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Newman Cemetery, Jonesville, VA.
