She was a member of Elm St. Baptist Church and VFW Post 1733 Ladies Auxillary. Mrs. Gray was the widow of Kenneth Cecil (Toby) Gray, who died in 1997. Her survivors include sons, Michael Wayne Ridings and Dale Roberson of Georgia; daughters, Jackquline D. Carron, Shelia Rogers, Marie Worthington of Georgia and Wanda Rouse of Knoxville; stepchildren, Judy Rouse of Knoxville, Susan Sexton of Chattanooga, Kenneth Wayne Gray of Virginia and Jack Childress, Jr. of Michigan; sisters, Beatrice Branum and Eva Callahan of Knoxville; brother, Edward Ridings of Knoxville; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Keith Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
