- Ola Bates Kuhnapfel Jasper, was born October 23, 19223 and she departed this life on August 20, 2015 at her residence having attained the age of 91 years.
She was first united in marriage to Mr. Ernest Kuhnapfel, he preceded her in death. She later was united in marriage to Mr. Herbert Jasper, he also preceded her in death. Survivors include; one daughter, Sherrie (and Ray) Haney; two sons, Ernest Vanroy (and Glenna) Kuhnapfel, and Orwin (and Nancy) Kuhnapfel; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Kuhnapfel; the following grandchildren, Lisa (and Marty) Buis, Jeanne (and Ricardo) Ocampo, Lorie (and Chris) Fisher, Justin(and Leanze) Kuhnapfel;the following great grandchildren, Dawson, Harper, Nicholas, Alexa, and Lily; and the following Brothers and Sisters, Leta Bobbitt, Roberta Cundiff, Dorothy Gilliam, Marie Sowder, Edna Mae Compton, Robert Bates, Johnny Bates and Edward Bates and a vast host of nephews, nieces and additional relatives and one beloved pet, Paige. who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents, and husbands, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Gary Kuhnapfel; one grandson, Jordan Kuhnapfel, and the following brothers and sisters, Alton Bates, William Short Bates, Jeff Bates, Harold Bates, and Effie Callahan.
Ola still worked at Q store in Somerset, KY and considered them her family as well, they are, Kelly, Tommy, Wanda, Connie, Sarah, and Caitlin.
She was a graduate of the Shopville High School and attended two years of college. She was the first of her family to do so. She was employed by Palm Beach and the Pulaski County School System for many years. She was also a member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. John Mark Toby officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Lick Cemetery at Grundy.
The family of Mrs. Ola Bates Kuhnapfel Jasper will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Sunday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Ola Jasper.
