- KEITH, William "Ray" age 96, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Walnut Creek Nursing Facility. He was born June 6, 1915 in Somerset, KY to the late John & Lilly Keith. Ray served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he received the Bronze Star. He was employed at McCalls/Dayton Press as a pressman for 35 years, where he retired.
Ray was preceded in death by his Brother, Clarence Keith; Sisters, Elizabeth Marie Warndorf and Dorothy Keith. Ray is survived by his Wife of 68 years, Reparata "Roddy" Keith; Children, Jeannette (Jim) Grantham, of Havana, FL, John (Angela) Keith, of Greenwood, IN and Jeanne (Ted) Hart, of Centerville, OH; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jimmy, Katie, Amy, Becky, Theresa, Michelle and Luke; Great-grandchildren, Haley, Rachael, Nicholas and Ellen Ashley; Sister, Mary Katherine Harlow; Brother, Richard Keith; and many other relatives & friends.
The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
