Mr. Hobbs was born on January 11, 1946 in Clearwater S.C. to the late Preston and Ruth Lee Hobbs. He worked as a security guard for Defender Industries for many years. Mr. Hobbs served his country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Hobbs, brother Danny Hobbs, sister Nancy Coe. Survivors include his wife Rose Ann Hobbs of Thomaston Ga, daughter Marinda Ann Gibby of Thomaston Ga, son Preston (Diane) Hobbs of Thomaston Ga, Denny (Veronica) Hobbs of McDonough Ga, Bobby Franklin Gibby of Thomaston Ga, Richard Eugene (Shirley Ann) Gibby of Thomaston Ga, Jeptha Earl Livingston of Clayton Ga. 7 Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.
