WALKER, ROSA JANE RIDINGS - age 84 of Knoxville , passed away December 18, 1999 at Baptist Hospital. Preceded in death by husbands, Martin J. Ridings & Bailey A. Walker; brothers, Troy & Walter Smith ; sister, Minnie McCarty. Survived by sons & daughters in law, Martin & Faye, Buford & Eileen, Jerry & Sue Ridings all of Knoxville , Robert & Cindy Moore, Orange Park, Fla.; daughters & sons in law, Lucille & Frank Price, Knoxville , Darlene Gore, Bellvue, Ohio, Opal & Cliff Perry, Davie, Fla., & Doris & Barry Crowell, Atlanta, Ga.; 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Lassie Cinnamon, Oak Ridge, Ora Harmon, Speedwell, Ann Arnold, Knoxville , Eva Moore, Youngstown, Ohio, Teresa Childress, Knoxville , Velda Gunter, Newport; special friend, Jim McDonald, Knoxville . She lovingly raised 2 grandsons, French and Robert Dean Wilson. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at McCarty Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 p.m. Rev. John Seiber officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday to proceed to New Gray Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers: Jerry Ridings, Dean Wilson, Bill Wilcox, Billy Ray Gore, Eugene Gore, and Chris Ridings. Arrangements by McCarty Weaver Cumberland Chapel.
