ODESSA Kathleen Johnson, 79, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at her residence. She was born July 3, 1923, in Lea County, Va., to John and Rena Coffman. She married Dudley Johnson Jr. pm July 16, 1955, in Lovington, N.M. They moved to Odessa in 1955.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Johnson Jr., her parents, five sisters, and three brothers.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church and had worked for TG&Y Family Store as a salesclerk.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Case, John Addington, Lance White, Ross White, Jim White and Tate Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Janis Smith and husband Kelton, and Detra White and husband Jack, all of Odessa; grandsons, Lance White, Ross White, Tate Smith and Skyler Smith, all of Odessa; granddaughter, Rachel White of Odessa; sister-in-law, Joyce Green and husband Rick of Tulsa, Okla. brother-in-law, Cleo Johnson and wife Wanda of Durant, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
