Survivors include grandsons, Mike Stapleton, Lingle, Wyo., Christopher Stapleton, Kearney, Neb., Earl "Skip" (Denise) Stapleton, Morrell, Neb., Richard Stapleton, Torrington, Wyo., and James D. Stapleton, Marion; granddaughters, Brenda (Stephen) Fields, Marion, Karen (William) Creech, Clarkston, Mich., and Sharon Gray, Denver, Colo.; sister, Betty N. Weston, Middlesboro, Ky.; great-grandchildren, Jeanelle (Chad) Artherhults and Molly Sue Fields, both of Marion, Christina (Clint) Williams, Brownsburg, Jessica Stapleton and Benjamin Stapleton, both of Torrington, Wyo. Also preceded in death by sons, James E. Stapleton Jr. and Earl W. Stapleton; four sisters and two brothers.
