  	Shelby J. Wright, age 81, of Canton passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken May officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Mrs. Wright was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Wright. Shelby is survived by her three children, Ann Robinson Hammonds, Cindy Denson and Kim Parton (Danny); four grandchildren, Heather Padgett (Lee), Amanda Underwood (Howard Varner), Jeremiah Robinson (Stephanie) and Brandon Denson (Jennifer); eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
