  	Bruce Ridings, age 78, of Spring City, Tennessee passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born November 8, 1934 in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Bruce loved car racing and enjoyed watching Nascar. He also had a love for horses. Bruce was a United States Army veteran who served his country proudly. He was a retired truck driver, last working for IML Trucking and AB Freight. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union Local Chapter 957. Preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Haley Pennington Ridings; brother, Billy Joe Ridings. SURVIVORS Children Rex Ridings & wife, Cindy of Pennington Gap, VA. Cindy Ridings Brewer & husband, Wayne of Pennington Gap, VA. Debbie Ridings Kennard & husband, Scott of Clarksville, OH. Eileen Ridings Pearl & husband, Pat of Hubert Heights, OH. 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren Special Lifetime Partner & Caregiver Frances Russell of Spring City, TN. Sisters Sandra Kay Ridings Robbins of Kingsport, TN. Bruce will travel back home to Virginia for his graveside service which will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Lee Memorial Gardens in Pennington Gap, Virginia with Rev. Edward Woodard officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the National Guard and the VFW Honor Guard of Lee and Wise Virginia. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. , at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, Virginia, prior to the graveside service, Online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net Franker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of arrangements.
