  	JAMES RIDINGS 3 Jun 1956 - 11 Apr 2009 DRYDEN, Va. — Jimmy Ridings of Dryden, Va. was born in Pennington Gap, Va. on Sunday, June 3, 1956 and passed away Saturday (April 11, 2009) at his home at the age of 52 years. He had lived in Lee County, Va. most of his life and was a disabled coal miner. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Albert Ridings, Sr. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Barbara Sue Ridings of Dryden, Va.; four brothers, Randy Ridings and wife, Teresa of Pennington Gap, Va., Johnny Ridings and wife, Lisa of Hartsville, S.C., Rodney Ridings and wife, Grace of Gray and Charles Ridings, Jr. of Dryden, ,Va.; one sister, Charlene Martin and husband, Gary of Dryden, Va.; nine nephews and nieces and two great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at Province Funeral Home, Pennington Gap, Va. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home sanctuary with the Rev. Craig Bedenbender officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, Va. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Province Funeral Home of Pennington Gap, Va. 24277 is in charge of the arrangements.
