  	Mrs. Thomas M. Walden, after a long illness, died Sunday night at her home at Cane Creek, this county. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at the home by Rev. W.F. Brock, assisted by Rev. John Tuttle, followed by burial in the family cemetery. Mrs. Ida Hale Walden was a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. James Hale, a member of the Baptist church and was beloved by a host of friends. Surviving are the husband and three children Messrs. Delmos and Delbert, well remembered in London as students in the Sue Bennett College and as the "Walden Twins," and Mrs. Violet Hopper, of Corbin. Mrs. C.R. Jarvis and son, Everett, attended the funeral.
