He was preceded in death by his parents, George Otto and Dora Ellen Shelton; sister, Thelma Jean; brother George; sister, Martha Ann Norton (Cookie); brothers, Steve & Larry; sister, Carolyn Johnson; brother Herman (Hammer) and grandson Adam Sweat.
He is survived by his Daughter: Kim Shelton

Grandkids: Ashley York, Samantha Goins, Shiloh Shelton and Christian Goins; Sydney Shelton, Jeana Shelton, and Alex Sweat and Baylee Shelton
Great Grandkids: Harper and Chandler Walker, Raelynn Simmons, Landon Massengill and Kyler Wolfenbarger.
Nieces and Nephews: Danny and Randy Johnson, Sue Keck, Karen Massengill, Mark Shelton, Peewee and Josh Shelton, Serena Massengill, Lisa Holbrook, Dora Hoskins, J.R. and Martha Ann Norton.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Tuesday July 7, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel . Graveside service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Lambert Cemetery.
