Albert Chandler Hale was born on May 3, 1938, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Milford and Mary McFadden Hale. He was united in marriage to Velma Faye Asher Hale, who preceded him in death. He is survived by four children, Albert W. Hale and wife, Jan, Sandra G. Moore and Michael A. Hale, all of London, and Lisa A. Hale of Cookeville, Tennessee, one sister, Theda Hatcher and husband, Bill, of London, one brother, Dennis Hale and wife, Vilas, of Louisville, two grandchildren, Kelly McFadden and Christopher Hale, six great-grandchildren, Scott and Logan McFadden, Richard Collins, Abigail, Aurelia and Charlese Hale, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by one son, William "Bill" Eugene Hale, two sisters, Doris Jones and Velma Helenski, three brothers, Tilmon, George F. and Eugene Hale, and two grandsons, Joshua Chandler Hale and Justin Ryan Hale.
He was a retired National Standard employee.
Albert Chandler Hale departed this life at Baptist Health - Corbin on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, being 78 years and 7 days of age.
Funeral services for Albert Chandler Hale will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Benge officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Cemetery at London.
