He was a retired engineer, a former deputy sheriff, a former Bush Fire Department Chief and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Blackwater Baptist Church. William Lee Hatcher departed this life at St. Joseph - London on Sunday, August 6, 2017, being 87 years, 9 months and 23 days of age. Funeral services for William Lee Hatcher will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at London. The family of William Lee Hatcher will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 PM Tuesday. Military honors will be conducted by DAV Chapter 158 Keavy, KY.
