  	ALLENE EARLS SMITH was born on May 21, 1926, in Corbin, Kentucky and passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the age of 77. She was a retired Bell Telephone Operator. Allene was preceded in death by her parents, Burd and Daisy Earls; her husband, Gene Smith; a daughter, Susan Hutchinson; and a grandson, Spencer Wayland Kimball, III (b. May 19, 1978; d. Jan 24, 1979; buried at Locust Grove Cemetery). She is survived by her loving granddaughter, Casey Kimball of Corbin, Kentucky; three sisters, Billie Robertson of Corbin, Maxine Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jan Rose Deters of Fort Wright, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 10th, 2004, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marion Parkey and Bro. Ron King officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, April 9th, 2004 at the O'Neil Funeral Home.
