    Berniece A. Young, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday September 4, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. Services: 3:00 p.m. Saturday September 17, 2011 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Paul Minx. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday September 16, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

    She is survived by her sister, Lula Winterowd and her children; Richard and Audrey Young of Swisher, Virginia and Malcolm Scott of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Mary and Richard Flaig of Salome, Arizona and Lewis and Robin Young of Vinton. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, a daughter, Charlotte and two sisters, Lorraine and Maxine.
