COFFMAN, Harold Wesley age 85 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully May 15, 2023 at Kettering Medical Center. Born September 2, 1937 in Lee County, Virginia, Harold was one of fifteen children born to Claude and Alice Coffman. Harold was a retiree from Ford Motor Company and a longtime member and bartender of the Waynesville American Legion Post #615. During his spare time, Harold enjoyed gardening, mowing grass, fishing, bowling, small engine repair and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents,loving wife Elaine Coffman: brothers and sister-in-laws James (Betty), Johnnie (Ilene), Roy, Charles Edward, Ralph (Betty) and George (Zelma) Coffman, sisters and brother-in-laws Clara (Bob) Head, Elizabeth Coffman, Paulette Coffman and Randy Johnson; Harold leaves behind his loving children Thomas Coffman, Rodney Coffman, Wesley Coffman and Shannon (Bob) Callahan; brothers Robert (Sharon), Gerald (Juanita) and David (Cheryl) Coffman; sisters Dorothy Johnson and Tina (Larry) Williams; sister-in-law Alice Coffman; grandchildren Kyle (Stephanie) Coffman, Megan (Scott) LeRoy, Caitlin (Kyle) LaBreck, Savannah Callahan, Austin Callahan and Jessica Callahan, great-granddaughter Lily Stull and many other family members, friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon May 22, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm at the Dodds Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held at the church Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11am with Gary Coffman and Zach Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami Cemetery in Corwin, Ohio.
