    Died:
    Coleman Vernon Hale, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in London.
    He is survived by his children, David Hale (Amy) of Bridgeville, Delaware, and Debbie Kidwell of Highland Heights, KY; two grandsons, Cameron & Bryan; one great grandchild, Destinee; sister, Joy Hill (Larry); two special friends, Jimmy & Gigi Pennington; and many other family and friends to mourn his passing.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Mary Tuttle Hale; paternal grandparents, Sid & Rebecca Hale; maternal grandparents, Evan & Doxie Tuttle; and a sister, Patricia Hale Liford.
    He was a 1955 graduate of Bush High School. After graduating, he attended diesel mechanic school in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved to Hamilton, Ohio where he worked at Champion Paper Company before moving to work at Armco Steel until his retirement.
    After retiring, he returned to London where he farmed until his health would no longer permit.
    He was an avid fisherman, especially favoring Norris Lake, Buckhorn Lake, and Lake Erie. He also loved to hunt, bowl, play basketball, and golf.
    Funeral services for Coleman Vernon Hale were held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Roger Wolfe and Chris Brock officiating. Burial followed at the Hale Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
