HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Troy McKinley Cinnamon, 68, of Hedgesville, and formerly of Kearneysville, W.Va., died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at his home.
Born Dec. 28, 1930, in Claiborne County, Tenn., he was the son of Lassie B. Brumett Cinnamon of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and the late William Arnold Cinnamon.
He attended public schools in Tennessee and completed additional training with the U.S. Government.
He worked as an inspector with the U.S. Government, Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., until retiring in 1991.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member of Woodsmen of the World.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Billie June Smith Cinnamon; two daughters, Barbara Ann Sanders of Philippi, W.Va., and Tammie Lynn Morine of Hedgesville; a sister, Lucille Barnett of Oak Ridge; a brother, Paul Cinnamon of Oak Ridge; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs, W.Va. The Rev. Hennis H. Fox will officiate.
Burial will be private with military honors by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from 10 a.m.
