Bruce “David” Ridings
Bruce “David” Ridings, 48, of Oak Harbor, Washington, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Island Hospital in Anacortes. He was born on March 29, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Clyde and Betty (Byrd) Ridings. David was employed as an appliance technician and computer repairman before his retirement. David loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed playing bingo, camping, and traveling. He was a loving son and brother and will be missed greatly. David was preceded in death by his father, Clyde. He is survived by his partner, Duayne Stanford; mother, Betty Ridings; brothers, Steve Ridings, Mike Ridings, and James Ridings; and sister, Kimberly Manning. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Washington. Memorials may be made to the Northwest Aids Foundation, 127 Broadway East, Seattle, WA 98102. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA.
