    their chldren were all born in henderson ky according to my grand mothers records all she had was floyd tiller and misouri catherine musser their bith date and death date floyds parents were john and charlott tiller both of smith co va they moved to macon co misouri in 1900 where i found them they were burrid in the oakwood cemetary in bevir mo

    JAMES TILLER

    Funeral services for James Tiller, 76, resident of Rock Springs for 30 years, were held Monday at the Rogan mortuary chapel. Bishop William Gibbs of the L.D.S. church conducted the rites and burial was in Mountain View cemetery.

    Pallbearers were David Dillon of Green River, Aaron Deneley Sr., Louis Hunt, Grover Logan and James and William Uranker, all of Rock Springs.

    Mr. Tiller died Friday, December 28, in Sweetwater Memorial hospital. A heart attack caused his death and he had been seriously ill for 12 days.

    Born July 7, 1880 in Ashland, Ky., Mr. Tiller came to Rock Springs in 1926. He was married to Emma Grindle, sister of Fred Grindle of Rock Springs, Jan. 12, 1903 in Macon, Mo., and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Rock Springs in 1953.

    Survivors are his widow of 811 Center street, two sons, Clarence and William Tiller, both of Rock Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Williams of Macon, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, also survive, Mrs. Bessie Grimes of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Ida Brammer who lives in Florida.

    Funeral services for Clarence Tiller Sr., 57, of Carbondale, Colo., former Rock Springs resident who died suddenly following a heart attack at his home Saturday morning, May 10, were held Thursday afternoon at Vase Funeral Home in Rock Springs.

    Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Volder Courtier, Jackson R. Forbes, William Domson, Joseph Tardoni, and George and Wayne Rogers.

    The son of the late James and Emma Grindill Tiller, Mr. Tiller was born at Bevier, Mo.; July 11, 1911. He was a former long-time resident of Rock Springs, leaving this city 10 years ago, after the mines closed. He had lived in Carbondale since that time.

    At the time of his death, Mr. Tiller was a mine foreman for Mid-Continent Coal and Coke Co.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Jackson, Carbondale; three sons, John David, Clarence Jr. and James Charles, and one daughter Clairann, all of Carbondale; one brother, Bill, Carlsbad, N.M.; one sister, Mrs. Irene Wiggins, Macon, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.

    One son, William, preceded him in death.

    Bonita “Jean” Grgurich, 83, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Sunday (April 29, 2012) at her home.

    The daughter of Henry and Bernice (Suhr) Daubresse, she was born August 24, 1928 in Macon County, Missouri. On May 5, 1950 in Kirksville, Missouri, Jean was united in marriage to Anthony “Tony” Grgurich.

    Jean is survived by her husband Tony of sixty-one years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Kathy Grgurich of Novinger, MO, and Larry and Linda Grgurich of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Henry Daubresse and wife Jill of Kansas City, MO; four grandsons, Eric Grgurich and wife, Tara, Clint Grgurich and wife, Alicia all of Novinger, MO, Nick Grgurich and wife, LeAnn of Charleston, S.C. and Neal Grgurich of Camdenton, MO; one granddaughter, Natalie McBride and husband, Jason of Clever, MO; twelve great-grandchildren, Bailey, Breanna, Bryleigh, Holly, Erica, Audrey, Serenity, Noah, Victoria, Isabella, Astoria and Alexanoria; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents.

    Jean resided most of her life in Adair County and was a graduate from Kirksville High School. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and was content with the simple pleasures of life, the farm and her family.

    She was a past President of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, PTA member and Den mother with Cub Scouts. Jean was also a long time member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Novinger.

    Public visitation will be held Friday (May 4, 2012) with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

    Interment will follow the service at Shibley’s Point Cemetery, north of Novinger, Missouri.

    Pallbearers will be Eric Grgurich, Clint Grgurich, Eugene Grgurich, Nick Grgurich, Neal Grgurich and Frank Grgurich. Honorary bearers will be her nieces and nephews.
