William "Bill" and Leona Ridings Lovett raised two sons, Hubert & James
Lovett. They also raised a grandson, William James "Jimmy" Lovett...s/o
James Lovett and first wife, Pearlie Marie Collins. They raised Leona's
niece, Mary Ruth Prater for 8 years...between 1949 and 1957. Mary Ruth
adopted their surname, Lovett and used it in the grade school, Yellow
Creek, Sassafrass, Knott Co KY. Mary Ruth started using her own surname,
Prater in 1957. Mary Ruth is the d/o Joseph Curtis Prater and Willie
Marsee
