    Connie Jean Gibson, age 67, of Burnside, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her residence.
    Connie was born on April 24, 1951 in Somerset, KY to the late Hayden and Betty Ridings Cox. She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
    She is survived by her children Tammy Gibson (and Mike Cox) of Somerset, Beverly Lynn (and Daniel) Decker of Burnside, David Wayne Gibson of Somerset and Charles (and Amber) Gibson, Jr. of Somerset; nine grandchildren, Jessica Jasper, Matthew Jasper, Charles Jasper, Jennifer Mount, Corina Simpson, Derick Ruark, Betty Ruark, Sarah Gibson and Austin Fox; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
    Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Bud" Gibson, Sr., and he preceded her December 23, 2015; two brothers, Coy Lee Cox and Gary Wayne Cox; and a grandson, T.J. Jasper.
    Visitation will be on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
    Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Zuhars and Bro. James "Doc" Upchurch officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Josh Dick, Matthew Jasper, Daniel Decker, Mike Cox, Derick Ruark and Charles Jasper.
