    NEWMAN, Clifton Age 82 of Dayton went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Clifton was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia on August 7, 1926 to the late Henry and Lucretia (Hall) Newman. Also preceding him in death were two sisters Mildred Foran of Bristol, TN, and Millie Napier of Pennington Gap, VA. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie (Wells) Newman of 56 years, one daughter and son- in-law, Carol and Steve Bankhead, two grandchildren Gideon and Deborah Bankhead all of Seaman, OH. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Clifton retired in 1982 from Delco Moraine Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for more than 40 years. He was a greeter and an usher at the church. He was a United States Navy Veteran proudly serving during WWII. The family will receive friends at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, Friday, February 13, 2009, from 5 pm - 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the church, with Pastor Terrell Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
