    Flora Ridings, 80, of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday May 25, at the University of Tennessee Hospital.
    She was born November 14, 1932 in Fonde, KY, the daughter of the late Richard and Maudie Givens Lawson.
    She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Pruden, TN.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd Ridings, Sons: Ronnie, Eddie and Larry Ridings, Brother: Clarence (Delores) Lawson and Sister: Lora Maxwell.
    She is survived by the following members of her family:
    Daughter: Judy Hurst of Frakes, KY;
    Sons: Ricky Lynn Ridings and Randy Dean Ridings both of Middlesboro, KY;
    Grandsons: Anthony (Missy) Hurst of Frakes, KY, Ricky Lee Carpenter (Shannon) Ridings of Middlesboro, KY and Richard (Miranda) Ridings of Fourmile, KY;
    Great granddaughters: Madison, Jayla, McKayla and Amelia;
    Brother: Lawrence (Reba) Lawson of Fonde, KY;
    Special Friends: Paula Carpenter of Middlesboro and Nancy Hoskins of Ewing, VA;
    And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry King presiding.
    Music will be provided by Kelly Hatfield.
    The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Creech Funeral Home.
    At Mrs. Ridings’ request, she will be cremated by the Creech Funeral Home and interment services will be held at a later date. Online condolences and guestbook are available at www.creechfh.com

    MIDDLESBORO — Eddie Ridings, 57 of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Hazard Hospice Care in Hazard, Ky. He was born October 18, 1954 in Jellico, Tenn., the son of the late Floyd Ridings and Flora Lawson Ridings who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Clayton and Mary Ridings, Richard and Maudie Lawson; 2 brothers, Ronnie and Larry Ridings.
    He is survived by the following members of his family: mother, Flora Ridings of Middlesboro; sister, Judy Hurst of Frakes; brothers, Ricky Ridings and Randy Ridings of Middlesboro; nephews, Anthony Hurst of Frakes, Ricky Lee and Richard Ridings of Middlesboro; great nieces, Madison and Jayla Hurst of Frakes and Amelia Ridings of Middlesboro; and special friends Herman Lambdin and the employees of Goodyear in Middlesboro.
    At Eddie’s request, he was cremated by the Creech Funeral Home of Middlesboro.
    No services are planned at this time.
