SHELTON, AUSTIN - age 73 of Rutledge passed away at his home Jan. 31 2008, with his family by his side. He was a member of Indian Ridge Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Laura Shelton, Brother Eugene Shelton; sisters, Helen Harrell and Leona Neal.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Shirley Shelton; son, Mike and Brenda Shelton; granddaughter, Shannon Shelton; grandson, Shawn Shelton, Brothers Wade and Ray Shelton of Rutledge, Parlon Shelton of Franklin; sisters, Mrs. Eula Tyler of Michigan, and Mrs. Jerleen Range of Rutledge, friends and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2008 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 8:00 P.M. The Rev. Hollis Dunsmore, and Rev. Rodney Dotson will be officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Indian Ridge Cemetery. GULFPORT --- Mrs. Leona Neal, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Neal was a native of Blaine, Tenn., and a resident of Gulfport since 1962. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gulfport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Laura Shelton; a brother, Eugene Shelton; and a sister, Helen Herrell.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Neal; a daughter, Donna Gras, both of Gulfport; four brothers, Wade Shelton, Austin Shelton and Ray Shelton, all of Rutledge, Tenn., and Parlon W. Shelton of Clifton, Tenn.; two sisters, Eula Tyler of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Jerleen Range of Rutledge; and two granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. A service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery. Page: A5

SHELTON, WADE N. - age 69 of Rutledge went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2008. He passed away at Fort Sanders Hospital after complications from surgery. He was a member of Highland Springs Baptist Church. Beverly Jerleen “Neen” Shelton Range- age 70 of Rutledge made it home Monday, June 11, 2018, waiting on her at the gates of Heaven was her husband of over 50 years, Alfred “Sonny” Range; her only daughter, Beverly Terese Range; her precious dog Gidget. While she will be deeply missed by her family that she loved fiercely, we rejoice that she has completed her journey. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Laura Moore Shelton; brothers, Eugene, Wade and Austin Shelton; sisters, Eula Gray Tyler, Helen Herrell, Edith Shelton and Leona Neal; brothers-in-law, Ray Tyler, Bruce Neal; sister-in-law, Shirley Morgan Shelton,

She was always ready and willing to be a mother, grandmother, sister, or a friend to everyone she met. To know Jerleen was to love her. She loved to give and pour into the lives of others.

Preceded in death by her daddy, Alfred “Sonny” Range; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Carrie Range; maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Laura Shelton. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 19 years, Micheal Blevins; eldest daughter, Ashley, most precious to her where her babies, Quinton and Arianna; her biggest support, her mother, Jerleen Shelton Range; a multitude of uncles, aunts, & cousins; special friends, Gene and Christy. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Stacy Lawson officiating.
