    Mary Katherine Harlow, age 94 of Kettering, passed away 07/30/2015 in her home. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 27, 1921 to the late John Logan and Lillie May Keith. Katherine was married on November 13, 1942 to the love of her life, Warren Maxwell Harlow of Dayton, Ohio. Katherine was with her future sister-in-law, Roddy Keith, when she first met Warren. Roddy lived next door to Warren and borrowed his bike for Katherine to ride. Katherine did not get far before crashing his bike and then Warren appeared and started laughing until he realized it was his bike! It was love at first site and she was determined to move to Dayton. They lived in Oakwood and raised two children until Warren’s death on June 11, 1980. Warren and Katherine were active in the Dayton Optimist & Opti-Mrs. Clubs and Katherine was a member of the Dayton Woman’s Club. A few years after Warren’s death Katherine moved to Kettering with her son and family and enjoyed spending everyday with her four precious grandchildren.

    Katherine was preceded in death by her Brother, Clarence Keith and William Ray Keith; Sisters, Elizabeth Marie Warndorf and Dorothy Keith. Katherine is survived by her Children, Nancy Jane Harlow of San Francisco and Douglas Warren Harlow (Wei) of Kettering; Grandchildren, Christopher Warren Harlow (Jenni), Danielle Nicole Harlow, Elizabeth Anne Kopec (Shane), Sara Katherine Duibley (Darryl) and Yinan Zhang Harlow; Great-Grandchildren, Novalee, Alexis, Maximus, Judah, Tessa, Alex, and Avarie and Duncan (due in September;) Brother, Richard Keith of Somerset; and many other caring relatives and friends.
