Mary Frances Morrell, 97, of Bluff City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Mary Frances lived most of her life in Bluff City and was a faithful member of Bluff City Baptist Church. She loved her church and impacted many lives as a devoted Sunday School teacher. She was a long-time employee of TVA as a cartographer.

Mary Frances is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Adelia Earl Bates, her husband Howard L. (Sandy) Morrell, brothers Herman and Charles Bates and daughter-in-law Laura Morrell.

She is survived by her son Craig Morrell, her granddaughter Amy Goodman (Ken) of Greenville, South Carolina, her grandson Wade Morrell (Jennifer) of Brentwood, Tennessee and her great grandchildren, Connor Goodman, Caden Goodman, Rylee Kate Morrell, Mia Goodman, and Mally Morrell.

A graveside service to honor the life of Mary Frances will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00am at Morning View Cemetery with Rev. Mike Carrier and Rev. Bill Duncan officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 10:50am.
