died at Guardian care Nursing Home on Sunday
Jan. 31 1999
Born Imboden, VA. he was the husband of
Jeanette Coffman Hartford and the son of the late
George W. Hartford and Sarah Ellen Sturgill Hartford.

He was a retired electrician of 23 years and a
former member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survived by five children, two daughters
Peggy, Lynda and three sons Roy ,Bruce and
H.C.
Two sisters. Betty Garrett and Shirley Moore.
Two brothers; Arvil and George Jr.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Tuesday in
Twiford's memorial Chapel,405 E. church St.
Graveside services will be at 2PM .Wednesday
in Woodlawn cemetery, Norfolk with the
Rev. Dan Goff Officiating
