    Mabel Iris Coffman Richardson, 88, of Richmond, died unexpectedly at Reid
    Hospital Sept. 28, 2008. She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Pennington Gap, Va.,
    to William Lee and Birdie Lee Skaggs Coffman and lived here most of her
    life. She retired as a unit clerk at Reid Hospital, and was a Navy veteran
    of World War II. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
    Survivors include her three sons, Daniel L., Brent D., and Bruce E.
    Richardson of Richmond; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one
    sister, Edith Tompkins of Corbin, Ky.; nieces and nephews. Her husband,
    Leroy Richardson, died May 19, 2004; and she is also preceded in death by
    her daughter, Deborah Richarson Klingman; and seven brothers and sisters are
    deceased.
    Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
    Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery with military rites by the Wayne County
    Veterans Council. Memorial contributions may be given to Circle U Help
    Center, 19 N. 13th St., Richmond, IN 47374; or Diabetes Foundation, 7363 E.

    Daniel L. Richardson 63 of Richmond died November 23, 2010 at Reid Hospital. He was born January 2, 1947 in Richmond to Leroy E. and Mabel I. Coffman Richardson and lived in Richmond most of his life.

    Dan formerly worked as a director and counselor in Substance Abuse Centers. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany as a medic. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

    A loving husband and father he is survived by his wife Pam, four children Todd Richardson of Downers Grove, Illinois, Julie Jackson of Springboro, Ohio, Chad Richardson of Waynesville, Ohio, and Mandy Carp of Tacoma, Washington, four step children Sandi Feist of Kernersville, North Carolina, Todd Dollarhite of Taylor, Michigan, Angela Paulk of Garner, North Carolina, and Andy Dollarhite of Oak Grove, Missouri.

    Also surviving are two brothers Brent and Bruce Richardson of Richmond, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Deborah Klingman.

    Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday November 26, 2010 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, with Dwight Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, with military rites by the Wayne County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call 11:00 AM to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
