Died:
HEAD, Clara M. age 92, of Waynesville, passed away peacefully Fri. Dec. 16, 2016 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County, surrounded by her loved ones. Clara retired from Wayne Local Schools with nearly 10 years of service. She greatly enjoyed baking at home, especially wedding and birthday cakes, dining out, playing Bingo, watching the Cincinnati Reds and football with her children, game shows, soap operas, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 1984; her parents Claude and Alice Coffman; five brothers George, Rev. James, Roy, Charles, Ralph; and one sister Pauline Coffman. She is survived by three children Bobby (Karen) Head, Heather (Mark) Lucas, and Holly Cockerham (Brandon Johnson); five grandchildren Nate Head (Tamar Simpson), Josh (Kasey) Head, Leah Head (Cody Mullikin), Candice Cockerham, and Joey Cockerham; one great grandson Cody Head; five brothers John (Marjorie), Harold, Robert (Sharon), Gerald (Juanita), and David (Sherri) Coffman; three sisters Elizabeth "Liz" Coffman, Dorothy Johnson, and Tina (Larry) Williams; two sisters-in-law Zelma Coffman and Alice Coffman; and many other beloved family members. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Fri. Dec. 23 at the Dodds Pentecostal Church, Waynesville. Zachary Coffman will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 4 - 8 PM on Thurs. Dec. 22 at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
