John T. Ridings III, age 82, of Huber Heights, passed away on May 31, 2022. He was born on April 9, 1940 to the late Norma and John T. Ridings II. He served his country as part of the Army Security Agency. He retired from General Motors Delphi after 28 years of service. He enjoyed playing his guitar and taking care of his yard. He loved spending time with his family and having long conversations with his friends. He was often followed by his shadow and faithful companion, his dog Sadee. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Ridings. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 32 years, Cindy Ridings; his daughters, Mary Ridings and Kathryn (Paul) Pease; step-children, Melissa Dodge and Brandon (Shannon) Dodge; grandchildren: Ryan, Abbie, and Allie; his sister, Barbara Gray; and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

HUDSON, CAROL RIDINGS, 58, of Clarkson, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Sparks Ridings. She had been a registered nurse. She is survived by her daughter, Toni Craig of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Becky Lang of New Albany, Lois Wooldridge (Darrell) of Shepherdsville and Martha Fahey; and brother, Kenny Ridings (Cheryl) of Louisville; and special friend, Tony Craig. Funeral services were held in Lawrenceburg, KY, today, December 29, 2006. Burial will be at 3 p.m. today in St. Stevens Cemetery in Louisville.

Kenneth Earl Ridings, Jr.

Louisville - RIDINGS Jr, Kenneth "Kenny" Earl, 67, passed away October 17, 2018.

Kenny was the co-owner of Brandy's Drapery. He was a attended of Beechland Baptist Church where he was in the praise band. He was also a member of the band, Reflections, and was a professional music DJ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Ridings, Sr.; brothers, Johnny and Ricky Ridings; and sister, Carol Craig.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Horn) Ridings; children, Matt Ridings (Carey), Ryan Ridings (Kriste) and Elizabeth "Liz" Melton (Chad); grandchildren, Cooper, Jackson, Ava, and Raylan; and sisters, Martha Fahey, Lois Woolridge (Darrell), and Becky Lang.

COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 09/05/2006 - JEFFERSONVILLE
RIDINGS - Phillip L., 54, of Louisville, went to meet his Heavenly Father Sunday, September 3, 2006, at Baptist Hospital East after a courageous battle with cancer. Phillip Ridings was a proud employee of the Louisville Water Company for the past 26 ½ years. He was a Corvette enthusiast and re-builder of late model Corvettes. Phillip grew up in Utica, IN, and graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1969. He attended Indiana University Southeast and the University of Louisville Speed School. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was a beloved husband, son and brother. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Ridings. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna R. Ridings; his mother, Kathleen R. Ridings; his brother, Taylor Ridings (Sharon Ridings); his twin sister, Lynn Ridings Vaught; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. His family wishes to thank Dr. Grimaldi and all the doctors and nurses who cared for him at Consultants in Blood Disorders and Cancer (CBC), the wonderful nurses at Baptist East Hospital Oncology who cared for him in his final days as well as family, friends and neighbors who visited and kept him in their thoughts and prayers. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday and he will be laid to rest at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, 2515 Veterans Pkwy., Jeffersonville, IN, In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
