- Bonnie Newman, age 93 of Dayton, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Bonnie was born in Esserville, Virginia on December 16, 1927 to the late Willard and Mollie Caldona (Hyden) Wells.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Newman and siblings, James, Bruce, Kyle, Bond, Sue, Frank and Carl.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Steve) Bankhead of Seaman, OH; 2 grandchildren, Gideon Bankhead of Seaman, OH and Deborah (Jesse) Cumberledge of Russellville, OH; 1 great-grandson, Gavin Cumberledge of Russellville, OH; siblings, Judy (Porter) Trent, Neil (Bess) Wells and Jerry (Janice) Wells; numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Bonnie retired from Delco Moraine Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. She was a faithful member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 11 am -12 pm at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. A celebration of life will follow at 12 pm.
Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
